Score Inspector

The score inspector is a built-in widget for all elements in the scorecards, except Ownership, such as Management Control, Skills Development, Enterprise & Supplier Development, and Socioeconomic Development.

The score inspector offers an in-depth analysis of the (i) Target, (ii) Actual, (iii) Gap, and a (iv) gap margin for every subcategory within each element.

To access this functionality, you will follow the below steps:

Step 1: Click on the relevant element in the blue bar eg. Management Control

Step 2: Click the “add widget” button to reveal a dropdown menu in which you should select “score inspector”. This will enable the widget under the element you are working on.

Step 3: Click on the “show all” to expand the score inspector table.

Understanding the score inspector table:

There are 4 overall columns ie. Target, Actual, Gap and Gap Margin. Each column is further broken down into Percentage (%), Amount and Points (PTS):

 

Target Column:

The Target Column on the score inspector lists the targets for each indicator and sub-indicator.

% = Refers to the percentage target required to achieve points available per indicator

AMOUNT = Refers to the quantity or numerical value represented by the percentage symbol

PTS = Refers to the points available for each indicator

 

Actual Column:

The Actual Column on the score inspector lists the actual achieved for each indicator and sub-indicator based on the data that has been loaded into the Beetoolkit.

% = Refers to the percentage achieved per indicator

AMOUNT = Refers to the quantity or numerical value achieved per indicator

PTS = Refers to the points achieved for each indicator

 

Gap Column:

The Gap Column on the score inspector lists the gaps between the target and actual achieved for each indicator and sub-indicator based on the data that has been loaded into the Beetoolkit.

% = Refers to the percentage gap between the target and actual achieved per indicator

AMOUNT = Refers to the quantity or numerical value gap between the target and actual achieved per indicator

PTS = Refers to the gap between the target and actual points achieved for each indicator

Gap Margin:

The red colour to the far left of the bar graph depicts poor performance.

The amber colour to the far left of the bar graph depicts average performance

The green colour on the middle of the bar graph depicts good performance and maximum points achievable for that subcategory.

The amber colour to the far right of the bar graph depicts minimum overspend and should be avoided as this will be futile expenditure

The red colour to the far right of the bar graph depicts extreme overspending and should be avoided as this will be futile expenditure

 

Removing the widget:

To remove the widget, you may click on the remove icon on score inspector
