How to hide Sensitive information : Salary
There are elements that require Salaries to be captured in order to accurately calculate scores even though salary information is sensitive. The BEEtoolkit has a setting that allows only suitable users to view salaries. This serves as protection from all other users who are not privy to salary information.
The action of hiding sensitive information can be actioned by Admin user on the account. This can be done when adding a new user as well as edited on an existing user should the Admin wish to take away the user rights to view salary information.
- Access account by clicking on my account:
- Scroll down and click “add user”
- Under Permissions, you will scroll down to Sensitive Data and tick ‘Access salary related Data’
- If you are editing rights of an existing user, you follow the steps to access the account, scroll down to the listed users and select ‘Edit’ on the user you intended to edit:
- If you are revoking access to salary data the box should be unticked, once you click edit, you will scroll down to sensitive information & untick access salary related data box or untick if you are revoking access for the user:
