What B-BBEE pillars can Mpowered integrate with?
- Management Control (BEEtoolkit only)
- Skills Development (BEEtoolkit only)
- Preferential Procurement (SMS only)
What systems can Mpowered integrate with?
Any system that can export data automatically. These include, but are not limited to:
- ERPs like SAP, Syspro
- Systems with Web API’s like Xero
What integration methods does Mpowered support?
- In BEEtoolkit we support:
- REST API for:
- Management Control
- Flatfile integration for:
- Management Control
- Skills Development
- REST API for:
- In the SMS we support:
- Flatfile integration for:
- Supplier data
- Spend data
- Flatfile integration for:
How long does it take to integrate with Mpowered?
The scope of integration projects varies according to the method used, and the maturity of the data in the source system. We've seen integration projects take as little as a few days, and as much as 3 months.
What formats does Mpowered support via flatfile integration?
We can consume flat files containing XML, JSON, CSV data.
Which integration method should I use?
REST APIs offer the most real-time data flow, but general take more time to "plug in" for the source system developers, and therefore cost more.
Flatfile integrations are simpler to set up, and therefore have a lower cost to implement.
Whichever you choose, we highly recommend you configure a manual report in the source system that matches the manual import template in Mpowered systems. This will act as a handy time-saver while your integration is being set up.
How does the flat file integration work?
The flat file data pipeline is structured as follows:
Developing the flatfile integration will require collaborating with your source system's technical team, and you'll probably incur some time-and-material cost from them.
How much does integration cost?
We charge for the implementation of integration on a once-off, time-and-material basis. Our average integration projects averages about 10-20 development hours. You should budget anything from R15,000-30,000 for each system that needs to be integrated.
Can Mpowered integrate back into another system?
Yes it can. We can setup a data pipeline that is the mirror of the one mentioned above. This is costed on a time-and-material basis.
What limitations are there around integrating with Mpowered?
Your source systems need to capture B-BEE-necessary data. More information is available in the ‘Data Requirements' section.
